10. What Happened To Ego's Seeds?

The Question: With Ego destroyed, what exactly happened to the seeds he planted on planets throughout the universe that he planned to consume?

The Likely Answer: There are two distinct possibilities here: either the seeds are lying dormant for another enterprising supervillain to find, or in more conventional, convenient superhero movie fashion, killing Ego caused the seeds to become useless or maybe even evaporate into nothingness.

It doesn't seem probable that the seeds will be used again in the MCU, so perhaps a shot of them turning to dust was cut for pacing reasons, or maybe James Gunn simply wanted to keep audiences ever-so-slightly on their toes.
