2. Expect Lots Of Easter Eggs
Since James Gunn remains the uncrowned king of Marvel Easter Eggs - thanks to that one apparently massive Easter Egg in Guardians that nobody has yet found - it should come as no surprise that the sequel is going to be packed with Eggs as well.
Gunn is promising that the film will be double-stuffed with not only normal work-a-day references, but also some that will cater to the fans who like to meticulously break down movies to feed their Easter Egg perversion. People like me. So rest assured he's got a challenge for us all:
"Our Easter egg obsession is insane. And in fact I have the dumbest Easter egg. We have so many incredibly obscure Easter eggs in this movie that it’s ridiculous. Yeah, we’ve been working hard on the Easter eggs. I feel this need to do it now since people have been pouring over stuff so much."
