25. Martinex T'Naga

The crystal-skinned lieutenant to Stallone's Stakar who stands at his side on Contraxia is also a member of the original Guardians of The Galaxy team, better known as Martinex T'Naga, who was born on Pluto. He was described by writer Dan Abnett as "the brain" of the team.

He's made of crystal as his species was genetically engineered to withstand the extreme cold conditions on Pluto, which might be why he feels so at home on Contraxia.

He's played by an almost completely unrecognisable Michael Rosenbaum - Smallville's Lex Luthor - who is a friend of James Gunn and whose addition to the cast was very late in its announcement.
