Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 Final Trailer: 10 Things You Probably Missed

Ego the Living Planet = not just a cool name.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2's release is slowly creeping up, and Marvel Studios just released the very final trailer for the film. Admirably, it remains light on plot (perhaps because the movie doesn't actually have much?) while finally introducing Kurt Russell's much-hyped Ego the Living Planet and reveling in a wealth of terrific style.

The film looks awesome, and there's still so much of it that Marvel is smartly keeping behind closed doors. The trailer did, however, field out some tantalising tidbits, ranging from amusing Easter eggs to subtly meta dialogue and even a hidden cameo, all of which are easily missed on even an eagle-eyed repeat viewing.

10. Mattel Electronic Football

The trailer's opening scene shows the Guardians taking on the dimension-hopping squid known as the Abilisk, and Star-Lord can briefly be seen holding a makeshift tracking device fashioned out of...the classic, vintage handheld game Mattel Electronic Football.

The device only appears on screen for a second and the "Mattel Electronics" logo at the top is badly faded, so it's easily missed. Considering the device was originally released in 1977, this is yet another amusing throwback to the era of Peter's birth, and is sure to renew interest in the item on the second-hand market.

If you've got one lying around, you might able to make some easy cash.
