2. Mantis With Ego

When Kurt Russell makes his long-awaited debut at the very end of the trailer, there is a mysterious figure standing next to him for a brief moment before the shot cuts away.

The fact we don't see this figure in the next shot focusing on Ego left some fans mystified about exactly who it was, though if you take a close enough look, it's clear the form is feminine and almost certainly Mantis, considering that she's Ego's adopted daughter and can be seen hanging out with the Guardians in a previous trailer in what appears to be the very same area.

Some fans even unironically thought it was Adam freaking Warlock. Seriously?
