So here's what the Abelisk is so keen to gets its teeth into - lots of lovely space batteries - its favourite meal for some reason - that Ayesha and her people need to run their planet.

Not all of the Guardians seem super thrilled to be standing in the middle of a trap baited for a giant, angry space worm.

Interestingly, the trailer also confirms that the Abelisk can travel between dimensions instantaneously. It's the same technology that later turns up when Ayesha's drone army appears - could that mean she's somehow more linked to the beast than she's letting on? Maybe that's why she actually needs the Guardians to kill and capture it.
