The new trailer for the hugely-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 just landed, and it's safe to say that it persuasively argue that the movie is going to be a ludicrously entertaining, highly imaginative thrill-ride.
Prepare yourself to fall in love with Baby Groot, bob your head to some awesome classic rock, and meet a potentially wonderful new character joining the titular team.
Though Marvel Studios smartly haven't overplayed their hand here (we still have no idea what Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone or the movie's villain will actually look like), the trailer does a bang-up job emphasising how much damn fun this movie's going to be.

22. There's A Giant Squid
Yes, it was revealed in concept art a long time ago that the Guardians would end up facing off against a giant squid at some point in the movie, but seeing it in action is something entirely different.
Though there's zero context for how the gang finds themselves standing off against the beast, one of the first shots in the trailer shows Gamora preparing to wail away on it with her sword, as Star-Lord and Rocket fire away at it while jet-packing in the vicinity.
This could very well be the movie's opening set-piece, to show how the team has become an ahem, well-oiled unit, since the last movie.
Either way, it looks great.
