Marvel knew they struck gold with the emergence of Baby Groot at the end of the first Guardians: he's insanely cute and hilarious, and more cynically, a massive marketing opportunity.

Well, the new trailer didn't disappoint in terms of emphasising his cuteness, and while it's always possible the movie could go overboard with his new form, hopefully he'll evolve throughout the film and have time to go through the awkward teenage years before becoming regular Groot again at the end of the movie.
