Haggis claims no Carice Van Houten in Bond 22

Bond 22 opening just a few months after The Dark Knight, we know very little about 007's next adventure compared to Batman'. Hell, we don't even know a title for the film yet so we just have to feed off the scraps we hear from time to time. One of those scraps earlier this year was that Carice Van Houten, the star of Black Book and the upcoming Valkyrie was in line to be the next Bond girl. Much like Eva Green, she has the acting ability to back up her European beauty and is an unknown to the wider audience. I think she would have made a great choice but according to screenwriter Paul Haggis, it isn't going to be her starring alongside Daniel Craig...

"She's great, isn't she €“ but she's not going to be in this one." "Everyone says they know what the ending is, and they're wrong. Everyone thinks they know about the Bond Girls, and they're wrong."
The ending he is probably talking about is the one that involves the shooting that took place in Italy last week, but if you read this site regularly then you will already know that is not the end sequence but in fact a sequence of events in the second act. Another little tidbit that Coming Soon are reporting from Haggis is that the next movie will pick up exactly 2 minutes after Casino Royale. Another adventure straight away for 007? Does he never sleep?
