5. Narcissa Malfoy
When thinking about the illustrious Malfoy family, Narcissa is hardly the first character you'd conjure up. Despite this, it's pretty easy to see that she's the most powerful in her household.
Sure, Lucius had strong magic, but he was also a pathetic wet blanket. Plus, while Draco was a prodigy, his confusion and youth kept him just shy of popping up on this list. Then, there's Narcissa. She's a witch who understands power/strength.
This character didn't get many chances to shine throughout the series, but her elegance and intelligence seeped through even when she was in the background. Still, it was her minor redemption that showed her worth.
Narcissa's moment during the Battle of Hogwarts, where she lied to Voldemort about Harry's death, showed some of the purest strength and power you can find. She risked everything to save her son, deceiving the Dark Lord himself and showing a ridiculous amount of bravery.
Her actions even led to the Malfoy family being sparred from time in Azkaban. When looking at her choices and magical propensity combined, there's no way she could be excluded here.
