Harry Potter: 10 Reasons A Quidditch Movie Makes Complete Sense

2. Good For The Global Economy

Quidditch Stadium Harry Potter is one of the few enterprises that has never lost money. The books have been published in over 67 languages, with well over 450 million books sold, according to my research. The films have generated a box office gross of over $7.7 Billion. The theme park is expanding. A new film makes sense - think of all the jobs there would be for the productions designers, costume designers, make-up and prosthetic people, set builders etc, not to mention all the special effects teams that would have to be called into play. If you've ever been to a HP film, and sat through the 10 minutes plus worth of credits, you will know that it takes a large town's worth of people to create a good HP film. ILM - Industrial Light and Magic - brain-child of George Lucas - has been the pioneer leading force in the special effects industry since Lucas decided he wanted to do a little film called Star Wars; they would have to be part of a Quidditch movie. Based out of San Francisco, it would be great for the Californian economy. So, from bringing money into the locations being shot live, to the construction guys on sound stages, to the cast and crew, and all the post-production people that add sound and effects and edit the whole thing into a piece of modern magic, plus, the world-wide cinemas who sell popcorn and actually show the film, the global economy and the below the line people in the industry would get a boost...which brings me to my last point...
