Harry Potter: 10 Things That Happened After The Movies
1. Harry Revisited The Scene Of His Parents' Death
The Cursed Child comes to a head when Albus and Scorpius travel back to the night Harry's parents were killed. It was all part of Delphini's plan to intercept Voldemort and prevent her father's demise at Godric's Hollow.
Arriving on the scene to rescue his son, the scar-headed hero actually has the chance to stop the murder of his parents. One painful decision later, Potter decides altering history is too risky and allows their deaths to play out.
During the play's final showdown, Harry uses Transfiguration to disguise himself as Voldemort as part of a ploy to distract Delphini, which works a treat.
Coming to terms with the past and accepting it cannot be changed is a key theme of The Cursed Child, and there's no way the central characters could fail to learn that after their experiences in that twisted parallel universe.
