Harry Potter: 12 Wands That Perfectly Reflect Their Owners

3. The Weasley Twins

The Weasley twins, Fred and George, are well-loved for many aspects of their characters. However, could their prank-playing or business acumen make it into a wand design? Chances are, they couldn't. If symbols for money were captured, surely this would counteract their background as Weasleys, known for their financial worries as they grew up. Brightly-coloured or madly-patterned wands would surely seem incongruous.

However, Fred and George were both a gigantic part of Harry's introduction to Quidditch and a vital part of the Gryffindor team during the first five books. They both, naturally, played the same position, being the two Beaters on the team.

With this in mind, the production team created two wands with long shafts and handles that, though quite differently from one another, each mirror the design of the end of a wizard's broomstick. Perhaps many of the characters were considered for a broom-shaped wand, but it's so fitting that these were the duo chosen.
