1. Explain The Confusion Of Creature Classification
According to Newt's Fantastic Beasts book, creatures are categorised as either beasts or beings based on their ability to speak and their level of intelligence. Centaurs, for example, are intelligent enough to be classified as beings, but prefer to be recognized as beasts. Werewolves are handled as both beings and beasts depending on the particular department within the Ministry of Magic, and leprechauns could easily be considered beings if they'd request the change, though they haven't. We want to see this process in action, we want to see centaur pride as they choose to remain beasts. Labels are compelling things; we obsess over them whether children or adults, so let's see some labelling in action, and the potential consequences of it.
