Harry Potter: Every Dumbledore’s Army Member Ranked
9. Dean Thomas
Along with his fellow Gryffindors, Padma and Parvati, Dean Thomas offered relatively little to the cause of Dumbledore's Army. He was there in the background in a lot of the training sessions and montages, but its hard to think of any real stand out moment for the character at all.
The only thing that set Dean apart from the rest, and earns him a little more respect than he would have had otherwise, is that he could have easily decided against joining Harry, instead standing with Seamus.
As Harry and Ron were best friends at Hogwarts since their first year, so too were Dean and Seamus. When the latter called Harry out for being a liar, and stayed away from Dumbledore's Army, Dean chose to believe in 'The Boy Who Lived', despite the problems it could have caused his friendship.
He offered little to the team after this, but at least there was clear commitment to the team, and loyalty to Harry Potter.
