Harry Potter: How Well Do You Know Your Spells?
Are you as brilliant as Hermione Granger or as thick as Crabbe and Goyle?
Eight blockbuster films jam-packed with magic have shown that within the confines of JK Rowling's wizarding world, there's usually a spell for pretty much anything you can think of.
Whether it be conjuring a Patronus to ward off Dementors, the increasingly horrific results of the three Unforgivable Curses, or accidentally causing yourself to vomit slugs in a classroom argument (looking at you, Ron Weasley), the vast range of spells featured within the epic film and book series seems to be almost endless.
Indeed, it would be almost impossible to be familiar with every spell in existence. However, any aspiring witch or wizard hoping to pass their O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S. with flying colours and make it all the way past their final year at Hogwarts should be familiar with these key staples of magic - covering every area of magic from Charms to Defense Against the Dark Arts.
It's time to break out your old copies of The Standard Book of Spells. Would your repertoire of incantations have left Albus Dumbledore gobsmacked with awe? Or do you possess the magical talent of a Squib combined with the recall of Gilderoy Lockhart?
And remember, it's "Wingardium Leviosa", not "Leviosar".
