Snape, in particular, dislikes the Gryffindor students and frequently picks on them, much to Draco Malfoy's delight!
However, potions can be easy for some and difficult for others as a subject. Neville Longbottom, especially, struggles with the subject, whereas Hermione, as expected, excels.
