The Weasleys are everyone's favourite family. They live in the idilic Burrow and welcome Harry Potter in with open arms. Though they aren't the richest of Wizarding families they prove that wealth doesn't always come from money in the bank but that kindness and bravery is worth a lot.
With 7 children, Molly and Arthur Weasley have a lot to mouths to feed. Their children always have hand-me-down clothes and their broomsticks are rarely new. Even Ron's pet rat used to belong to Percy before him.
Ron, the family's youngest son, has a lot to live up to. Bill, Charlie and Percy all achieved great things at Hogwarts before him, becoming Prefects, Head Boys and even Quidditch captain. Fred and George on the other hand, though very intelligent, have no interest in their studies. The twins always preferring mischief, end up with their own very successful joke shop. Ginny, despite being the only girl amongst her siblings, is fierce and brave.
