The Goblet of Fire is one of the more interesting Harry Potter movies. Writer Steve Kloves seriously considered adapting the novel into two separate movies but ultimately decided against it.
Whilst this is understandable, it’s hard to ignore the relentless pacing. After just ten minutes, the movie has zoomed through the misadventures at the Quidditch World Cup, and we’re already witnessing the arrival of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.
Pacing aside, the movie still has plenty of highlights. The three Triwizard tasks are thrilling to witness, and the Yule Ball is superb, both visually and in terms of character development. Voldemort’s return is also excellent. It’s one of the creepiest scenes in the entire franchise and feels like something out of a horror movie.
Despite the issues, therefore, it’s hard not to enjoy The Goblet of Fire. Though fans of the book will always moan about the amount of missing content, the movie is still packed with memorable moments.
But can you remember all the details? If you want to get 100% on this quiz, you’ll need to know some seriously obscure knowledge about Harry’s fourth on-screen adventure.
