With Hogwarts Legacy having now been released, we once again get to journey into the magical world of the titular wizarding school.
Hogwarts is a place that welcomes witches and wizards of all ability, whether they are muggle-born or have had generations previously attend. Many of us wished that we could have swapped out our high school experience of Maths and Chemistry and studied Potions and Charms instead.
In Harry Potter, almost every witch or wizard born in the UK will have attended Hogwarts, arguably one of the best places to learn all about magic and the wizarding world. Though we may have spent most of our time with Harry and his friends, the movies gave us a glimpse into what life was like in the castle for those who came before.
We saw Lily Potter and Severus Snape lose a childhood friendship that would never recover. We got to see how Lord Voldemort began as a young wizard and his desire to learn about dark magic even as a teenager.
