We already know that most of Thor: Ragnarok will be set in the cosmos, but it looks like the film will be finding time for a few Earthbound scenes, and more specifically New York City.
Ostensibly the home of the MCU characters, a new set photo has emerged of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston on the film's Austrailian set, in front of what's made up to look like a New York newsstand, complete with papers with headlines along the lines of 'Has Thor Returned? God Of Thunder Strikes It Up With Lady Liberty', 'Times Square Murder', and 'Villain Loki Spotted'.
Given the film has been teased as an intergalactic road trip, it's not that much of a surprise that it'll be dropping in on Earth, although what exactly goes down will be interesting to see. Those headlines tease a fairly big event, even if the film doesn't seem like it'll be spending too much time there (unless, of course, they're just deliberately misleading for promo purposes). A few videos of the set have emerged as well, showing off both Hemsworth and Hiddleston in rather un-Asgardian clothing.
Thor Ragnarok will be released November 3, 2017.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
