HENRY POOLE IS HERE trailer

"No, I think I might have actually made it worse!".

Luke Wilson stars as a guy who has hit rock bottom and wants to hide from the world by staying in his home and drinking himself to depression until one day a neighbour believes to see an image of God on the side of his home! Now for a guy who is desperate to be alone, this becomes a bad situation because the whole town flock to see the image of God. It's a neat little premise but sadly the trailer doesn't quite live up to the tight plot. You've got Radha Mitchell as the obligatory love interest and the object that Luke Wilson must strive to have (she spends half the trailer smiling against her fence which quickly becomes tiresome) and then some pretty awful reactions from Wilson who looks bored when delivering the pretty lame dialogue. The film comes from Arlington Road director Mark Pellington, who helmed a script by Albert Torres for Lionsgate...

The film opens in the U.S. on July 25th before rolling out wide the week after. No word on a U.K. release just yet. source - /film
