One of the major issues with Indy 4 was the constant use of not just CGI, but the constant use of bad CGI. A lot of it was over-the-top and unnecessary, and at times could be a bit distracting. The original films relied more on practical effects, and had great success using them. Weve already heard that The Force Awakens will be moving away from CGI and returning more to the practical area, so itd be good to see this follow suit and return to delivering the great sequences were used to without computer imagery.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
