Indiana Jones IV trailer in November?

indianajones4.jpgThere are some movie writers on the Internet who won't be convinced that Indiana Jones IV is going ahead until set photo's from filming comes through (we believe in June) or better yet when a trailer for the movie is released. You can't blame them really. The roller coaster ride of this fourth installment of the series has been on and off again more times than John Travolta's career. Although, what is true is that we have never reached this far into production without some sort of problem, I mean we even have a final script, actors cast, a release date and a filming schedule! George Lucas has been speaking to USA Today where he revealed the first trailer for the movie will hit theatres around Thanksgiving time, which is in around seven months. Astonishingly, he also said he hopes the title of the movie can be kept under wraps until said trailer is released...... all I can say is good luck with that one George. Speaking about Harrison Ford, Lucas said....
"He's not running in any of the movies. He's either on a horse or driving a car or a motorcycle. And he'll play his age in this movie with what's appropriate. The chases are more suspenseful than speedy. Like the rolling ball in the first film €” it's not that he's running that fast, it's that there's a giant ball coming at him. And he will get beat up, which is a tradition for us."
In the article he goes on further to mention that Steven Spielberg was the one who wanted Cate Blanchett for the movie, and on the subject of Sean Connery returning to reprise his role as Indiana's father... the response was "We're still trying". As long as his age isn't the only focus of the film and there aren't too many jokes about it with the story and plot of Indiana Jones' last quest being at the forefront.... then his age doesn't really bother me. As long as it has a good story.... the movie will be fine. source - coming soon, usa today
