The Interview: 18 Insane Moments You Won't Believe

15. The Myth Of Kim Jong-Un: He Can Talk To Dolphins, Doesn't Pee Or Poo, Doesn't Have A Butthole

Even before Skylark and Aaron head to North Korea to interview (and assassinate) Kim Jong-un, they're made abreast of the myths about the man that his citizens believe, namely that he has the ability to talk to dolphins and doesn't need to pee or poo. Once they head to North Korea, they meet up with one of the highest-up members in the North Korean leadership, Sook (played rather brilliantly by the lovely Diana Bang), and once they're talking in the back of a limo, Skylark can't help but probe once again about the toilet-based myth. Sook replies, "He works so hard, he burns the energy from inside" as well as following up with, "He does not have a butthole. He has no need for one." It is, of course, a riotous send-up of the indoctrination and propaganda espoused by the North Korean state regarding their Supreme Leader. An easy and obvious joke to make, perhaps, but undeniably funny.
