Iron Man 3 Spoilers - Post-Credits Scene Revealed (Or Is The Real One Still To Come?)

iron man 3 gwynelth paltrow Okay, be warned, there are spoilers ahead. Latino Review have revealed the details of the post-credits scene from Marvel Studio's upcoming Iron Man 3, following a screening of the film at a premiere in Paris. The nature of the much speculated and highly rumoured finale, widely expected to setup the next chapter in Marvel's Cinematic Universe building up to The Avengers 2, was in truth always going to be leaked this week. The UK premiere is later in the week and the movie is screened for press, including WhatCulture.com, in a few days, so this was never going to be kept under-wraps. Please don't read on if you don't want to know what the post-credits scene is:
"It starts with a close shot of Tony Stark on a couch talking about his various traumas, obviously he€™s talking to someone, as if he was seeing a shrink, the tone of the scene is light and supposedly funny. Then we discover that the person he€™s talking to is Bruce Banner/Mark Ruffalo, who fell asleep because of Tony€™s boring story. Tony remarks that Banner has been sleeping during the most part of his story and yells at him, and Banner just mumbles and says €œYou know, I€™m not that kind of doctor!€ Then Tony recalls another memory and resumes his monologue, and then we see Banner starting to fall asleep again."
So, Bruce Banner in the post-credits scene. That puts a hush on any rumours of the Guardians of the Galaxy or other Marvel characters (an introduction for Edgar Wright's Ant-Man was the favoured choice among speculators) who have yet to appear in the films. But Latino Review also wonders if this revelation could be a placeholder until we in the States and Britain receive something different? Kind of like a false post-credits scene? It certainly seems feasible given how ordinary this moment sounds... it barley builds up anything. Who knows? We'll know for sure in a few days either way. Iron Man 3 pits self-described philanthropist, playboy-billionaire Tony Stark against a new foe, the Mandarin, leader of the mysterious Ten Rings terrorist organization that kidnapped Tony in the first Iron Man film. Stark is once again played by Robert Downey Jr. and is accompanied on screen by Sir Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as Rhodey/Iron Patriot, Rebecca Hall as Maya Hansen and Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian. Iron Man 3 is released on April 18 in the UK and May 3 in the US.
