6. Iron Man 3 (2013)
So just what can we expect from Tony Stark and company this April? Well, what we do know so far is that Iron Man 3 will be a personal battle for Stark's alter-ego, as we attempt to work out whether the man makes the suit or the suit makes the man. The teaser trailer painted quite a dark visage of what to expect, yet Shane Black has said it definitely won't be all doom and gloom, either, so expect some comedy antics in there too. Nick Fury, the Black Widow and the like won't be back this time around, which means there'll definitely be an individual feel, but all the same given Tony's references to the Battle Of New York in the teaser, it's difficult to imagine that the events of Avengers Assemble won't have some sort of repercussions. With the Mandarin and Extremis providing the main antagonist threats of this third entry, there'll be plenty of new surprises to look forward to. Don't be surprised, though, if there are hints at just what Avengers 2 might hold for us and Tony in the final scenes of the movie, and indeed in the ever-crucial post-credits sequence... We'll be looking back on the adventures of Thor on the big screen this Autumn ahead of The Dark World. For now, what did you think of the two main Iron Man movies?
