Now that the Marvel One-Shot "All Hail the King" has revealed the existence of a true Mandarin (Ben Kingsley's Trevor Slattery was visited in prison by a representative of the villain), it simply has to be acknowledged in an Iron Man movie. That's not to say that we need to have the real version of the villain as the key antagonist in another Iron Man movie - the Mandarin name has had its shot (albeit poorly done) - and it's time for someone else to have a go, but the fact that the real Mandarin has been revealed to exist means that it absolutely should be mentioned in one of Tony Stark's titular movies, should more be made. Even if it is just a passing comment, a news report or a post-credits threat by the villain, after the debacle that was Iron Man 3's interpretation of the character, simply stating that Tony Stark knows there's a really powerful Chinese martial artist with powerful rings out there gunning for him would go a long way to fixing the issue.
