Italian legend to get Hollywood Star

Variety carry the news that the great 67 year old Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci is to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with an unveiling currently set for February 19th. Bertolucci is one of the true greats still working in Hollywood today (though I don't believe he actually has any plans to direct any more movies at this time) and he is without a shadow of a doubt worthy of his own star... If you haven't seen the fascinating sexual morality play THE DREAMERS yet, then shame on you though it's likely for his prior work is he receiving this honour. Movies like THE LAST EMPREOR (which won 9 oscars), 1900, LAST TANGO IN PARIS and my absolute favourite of his, THE CONFORMIST. He also contributed to the script of one of my favourite movies of all time, Sergio Leone's ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST.
