4. Live and Let Die... or Just Water Walk on the Backs of Alligators
This scene is the epitome of classic Roger Moore Bond moments. The one hand, one hook villain Tee Hee Johnson leaves Bond on a tiny island surrounded by alligators at feeding time. As Tee Hee draws away from him on a retractable pier he shares with Bond that there are two ways to defeat an alligator. The first way is to shove a pencil behind their eye and the second is to reach in his mouth and pull out his teeth. Eyebrows arched, Moore contemplates the decision. As giant hungry gators invade his tiny island bent on making him their next meal he tries activating his wristwatch magnet to pull a rowboat to his rescue. Alas the boat is tied off so he does the next best thing. Quickly runs step by step on the backs of alligators to safety leaving audiences forever with the question: could someone really do that? Bond then opens the gates to release the crocs on his captors to give them a taste of their own theatrics.
