Casino Royale is arguably the best Bond film across the hugely impressive filmography. Initially met with wide-spread criticism for his appointment, Craig going on to blow the critics out the water as 007. By delivering one of the grittiest and intense perormances to date, Craig signalled a dramatic shift in direction from the cheesy Pierce Brosnan era. In turn, Casino Royale has become one of the most memorable films of the entire franchise.
The film follows the rookie agent’s first mission in the espionage filled double-0 world. From the brilliant black and white scene focusing on Bond obtaining the coveted licence to kill, to the infamous knee-cap scene with Mr.White, the film has become a modern day masterpiece - all in a days work for Mr.Bond.
