James Cameron talks AVATAR

James Cameron appeared on CBC's "The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos" last night and spoke about his career, why he hasn't got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, what really happened with PIRANHA II, what it's like to really be nominated for Academy Awards and of course his return to movies next year with AVATAR. He says he is working on the effects for the movie right now but it's on course for it's late 2009 release.

AVATAR will blend of live-action photography and new virtual photorealistic production techniques invented by Cameron€™s team, and promises to completely blow our minds. The film contains six fully CGI actors known as €™synthespians€™. It€™s needless to say that images from this movie are some of the most anticipated out of anything currently in production right now. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi star among others.
