James Gunn & Rainn Wilson pitching "the anti-Watchmen"

Twitter is fast becoming the new source of film information. Brendon Connelly at /film was stalking The Office actor Rainn Wilson last night when an update came through that Wilson and Slither director James Gunn were about to start pitching "the anti-Watchmen" to Independent studios. rainn_tweets-440x420 That's all we know at the moment but it's worth considering that back in 2000, Gunn's scripted film The Specials revolved around a group of a mediocre superhero team who fought in the harshly competitive world of toy tie-ins and fighting evil.

Is Gunn out to remake, or re-adjust his original concept?
