Jamie Foxx is a talented man. Comedian, musician and actor, he's tried his hand at many pursuits and gone down a storm in each. After all, it's a rare man who can actually turn out a decent album while conquering Hollywood (no, that doesn't include Bruce Willis), and even rarer a man who's snaffled up an Academy Award and a US Billboard charts number one to match his Grammy. In fact, there's only four people who've done it, a number so small you couldn't even make a quiz team out of it. So basically, he deserves all the praise you can throw at him, and then some. But just because the man born Eric Marlon Bishop you really didn't think Foxx was his birth-name, did you? is obviously successful, it doesn't mean everything he touches turns to gold. No, much like many Hollywood actors, Foxx has churned out some clunkers over the years, the comparative lumps of coal among the more glittering turns of his storied career. So in honour of his shocking (really, really sorry for the pun) turn as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 out in the UK this week we're turning our regular column to the man with the stupidly awesome name. Naturally, there'll be some light SPOILERS here, and with that in mind, we'll press on.
