3. The Perfect Weapon
Jason Bourne is the perfect, 30 million dollar weapon. He has taken out every assassin sent after him with limited resources and no memory, so seeing a Jason Bourne with a full memory and hell of a lot of punching practice is an intriguing prospect. An unknown character discusses the prospect of 'needing the perfect weapon', so perhaps a job offer from the CIA is on the cards? They've seen his resume, so he might not even have to interview for it. It is also worth noting that the trailer seems to suggest a lot less hand-held camera, or shaky cam, than the previous installments. Though the shaky cam style arguably adds a realistic edge to the action, the technique is widely mocked by audiences and in some cases is downright despised. When used well it can be very effective (Greengrass is currently the master) but when over used it can make everything very difficult to follow. The lack of shaky cam here is a further hint that, though some staples have remained intact, this Bourne film will at least be something new.
