3. Alonso Avellaneda - The Pink Panther 2 (2009)

You can actually see something akin to pain on Jeremy Irons' face as he permits himself to act his way through The Pink Panther 2, a movie that he absolutely must have agreed to appear in on the promise of an extravagant holiday (or two or three or four...). As Alonso Avellaneda, whose ridiculously European character feels like a knowing wink to the countless array of foreigners that Irons has played over the years, he's totally wasted as a Frenchman suspected of committing a robbery by Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin). It's not a particularly large part, and Irons cannot hide his dismay at having to actually lower himself to a sequel of this kind - even through a mock-French accent. Even Beyonce had the mettle to turn down this awful sequel, Jeremy: what gives?
