John Carter Reviews & Feedback: What Did You Think?

Did you love the movie, are you planning on seeing it this weekend or have the trailers reminded you too much of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace to even bother?

John Carter, the early summer blockbuster is now in cinemas and as it has been such a hotly anticipated movie, is such an important project for Disney because of the money they have spent on it, and because our review of the film garnered so much discussion, we've created this post to hear your feedback on the movie. Disney's fantasy adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' sci-fi novel cost a whopping $250 million to make and Disney are banking on the expensive special effects and world threatening plot to the universe they have created to bring in the masses for what is a movie led mostly by unknowns. Taylor Kitsch stars as John Carter, a war-weary, former military captain who is transported to Mars where he must save the world on the brink of collapse. Lynn Collins has the love interest role as the Princess Dejah Torris with more familiar names supporting the movie in Willem Dafoe, Mark Strong, Sammantha Morton, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Haden Church and more. The film is the live-action directorial debut of Wall-E director Andrew Stanton. Our very own Rob Beames reviewed John Carter last week and scored the movie 3 and a half stars out of five, calling it a €œLovingly Made Pulp Fantasy With Boring Human Characters€. You can read our review HERE. But what did you think? Did you love the movie, are you planning on seeing it this weekend or have the trailers reminded you too much of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace to bother seeing it! We would love to hear your thoughts below...
