8. The Dog Safe & Sound

There was a lot of concern that John Wick: Chapter Two might end up recycling the same dead dog scenario to diminished returns, but thankfully Wick's new, still unnamed canine was kept out of harm's way for the movie's entirety.

It might be tempting for the filmmakers to return to the well for an all-bets-are-off part three where the dog dies again, but hopefully Wick will have the sense to leave him in the care of someone (not that there's anyone left to trust) before taking off.

It's unlikely the dog will be able to dodge and survive all the bullets that Wick himself can, so putting him in the path of everyone's itchy trigger fingers would basically be animal cruelty at this point.

Do the right thing, John, and save the dog stuff for some sort of reunion at the end of the movie.
