2. Randall

The most brutal of the film's murders is also the most personal and cathartic for Arthur, even more so than that of Murray, because it's Randall's betrayal of him that robs him of his job, which he loves and which leads to him killing the 3 Wayne employees.

While there may be some genuine concern for Arthur in Randall's decision to give him the gun, as soon as Arthur accidentally reveals he has it, Randall flips on him and tells their boss, leading to him losing his job. When he tells the police the same thing to protect himself, Arthur clearly thinks he's gone too far.

When Randall and Gary turn up to Arthur's home in the wake of Penny's death, they find him celebrating. Arthur takes his chance, stabbing his supposed former friend in the neck and eye with a pair of scissors and then smashing his head against a wall. It's bloody, incredibly violent and makes for very difficult viewing.
