Josh Brolin looks creepily like George Bush in Oliver Stone's W.

First look at the first couple in the controversial political biopic satire.

Ok, so they have done an amazing job making Josh Brolin look like the current U.S. President George Bush but again I'm asking you - what does the actor see in this material for W. (note the dot that now accompanies the title - that is not just the end of sentence). He's too good to play parody like this and at the end of the day he has to make himself look stupid for two hours on screen and I can't imagine director Oliver Stone for a second giving Bush any chance for emotional resonance. Bush is going to look inept, incapable and idiotic... it's a thankless role for Brolin.

This image which has landed on the cover of Entertainment Weekly tells us two further things. NUMBER 1: That ridiciulous smirk on the face of Bush will be a frequent look in the film, I can guarantee it. NUMBER 2: This movie is going to be huge - one of the bigger hits of Stone's career and will dominate the press for the week of it's release. Also on the cover is Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush. Co-starring with them are James Cromwell (as the other George Bush), Ellen Burstyn (as Barbara Bush senior), Thandie Newton (Condoleezza Rice), Ioan Grufford (Tony Blair), Rob Corddry (Ari Fleischer) and heavily rumored but I don't remember hearing it confirmed... Jeffrey Wright as Colin Powell. Stone was aiming for a November release in time for the elections but it's likely the film won't make it in time. source - just jared, /film
