Joshua Jackson joins the remake of Shutter

18391398.jpgJoshua Jackson has joined the American remake of the Thai horror movie Shutter. We previously reported in January that Transformers star Rachael Taylor had signed on to lead the flick. Here is the plot for you guys again... The story revolves around a young American couple on their honeymoon in Tokyo who begin seeing ghostly images in their photos as well as around them. Also cast in the movie are David Denman from the U.S. version of The Office, James Kyson Lee from Heroes and John Hensley from Nip/Tuck with Masayuki Ochiai directing. The only thing that would concern me about hiring Jackson, is that it might remind people of the Wes Craven horror flop Cursed from a few years back that he featured prominately in the trailer. Actor association, especially if they have been in bad genre movies... will always hurt an actor's attempt to star in that type of film again. source - the hollywood reporter, coming soon
