Joss Whedon Wants Your Questions For The Cabin in the Woods

Joss Whedon & Drew Goddard's genre-bending horror movie is finally coming to cinemas on Friday 13th April.

Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard's tongue in cheek, genre bending horror film The Cabin in the Woods is finally set for release April 13th around three years since the movie finished filming, so long ago in fact that its director has since shot and edited Marvel's mega blockbuster The Avengers which comes out just weeks later. It has been an epic journey to release for The Cabin in the Woods, too long actually. Whedon produced and co-wrote the film with Goddard, a writer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Cloverfield, who is making his directorial debut. The film stars a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth (his star billing a fortunate plus point from all this), Amy Acker, who has worked with Whedon before on Angel and Dollhouse and a few other fresh faces alongside veterans Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. Whedon has said he wants to turn the horror genre on it€™s head with the movie. The official synopsis is below; Five friends go to a remote cabin in the woods. Bad things happen. If you think you know this story, think again. From fan favourites Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard comes THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, a mind blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out. Produced by Whedon and directed by Goddard from a script by both, the film stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. Lionsgate presents a Mutant Enemy production. To celebrate the eventual release of The Cabin in the Woods, Whedon will soon be recording a special video interview answering direct questions from fans, including the What Culture audience. So we want your questions! E-mail us at or tweet us your best questions for Joss Whedon about his previous, future work and particularly The Cabin in the Woods (in cinemas April 13th) and you might well be credited in the video interview...
