Judd Apatow's next film, his spin-off from Knocked Up that will focus on the married supporting couple played by
Paul Rudd and
Leslie Mann will be titled
This Is Forty. So remembering that
Megan Fox was cast a couple of months ago in the picture, I guess we can fairly certainly assume the movie revolves around the couple who have hit middle age and the problems, insecurities and doubts that set in... with Fox as the fiesty temptress who Rudd is drawn to have a fling with? When all is said and done it will certainly make for an interesting double play with Apatow's The 40 Year Old Virgin which was something of the opposite - a movie about a middle aged man child who finally matures into a man. This Is Forty begins filming in June and is set for a release 12 months later, on June 1st, 2012. Still no word on whether
Seth Rogen or
Katherine Heigl (the main actors from Knocked Up) or any of the supporting players that included
Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, Jay Baruchel and more might make an appearance.
