Jungle Cruise Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

2. The Entertaining Supporting Cast

The cast for this movie is unsurprisingly stacked, and while not everyone gets a ton to do, it's great to see so many talented names and faces showing up for sturdy paychecks.

First and foremost, Jack Whitehall is a lot of fun as Lily's brother MacGregor, the British comedian proving himself worthy of a blockbuster stage as he holds his own among his A-list co-stars.

Elsewhere, Paul Giamatti isn't in the film for long, but he's hilarious as the ambiguously accented harbourmaster Nilo Nemolato, overacting for the cheap seats and clearly relishing every second.

Veronica Falcón is also a lot of fun in the small but pivotal role of Trader Sam, a character from the theme park ride, and British viewers are likely to get a kick out of the great Andy Nyman showing up for a quick cameo in the first act of the movie.
