Rumours of tamed velociraptors and even a tame t-rex, a gargantuan mosasaurus leaping out of the water to eat a shark for an onlooking SeaWorld-esque audience's entertainment, a dinosaur escaping its enclosure, experimentation with dinosaur hybrids... The fact that all of this leads to yet more dino-park tragedy - particularly just a couple of years after the release of Blackfish (a film about the captive Orca Tilikum at Sea World which was involved in the deaths of three people) - would seem to suggest that the film has an ulterior motive. That ulterior motive seems to be to get the message across that humans should cease - or at least minimise - their tinkering with nature. Exactly how much emphasis will be placed on forcing the message across to audiences remains to be seen - and it'll certainly be interesting to find out - but it certainly looks as if there will be some at least.
