Jurassic World: 11 Easter Eggs And Hints On The Website

1. An Almighty Foreshadowing?

The website's page for the Innovation Centre includes shots of interactive screens showing the history of the park's residents, including theories on why they all died out. One of those theories is a volcanic episode on a mass scale, as seen above. That is particularly interesting considering the history of the Isla Nubar, and indeed with the way the park is set out: as indicated by the map below from the trailer, there's a fairly sizeable Restricted Area...
And what's in that Restricted Area? Here's the same area on the official website...
Clearly having park visitors wandering around a volcano wouldn't be a good idea, especially as it's active (according to Masrani's site, 65% of the park's power comes from geo-thermal energy produced from it), but why the wide berth? Could there be more going on beyond that border? It certainly seems possible with InGen's ropey history, but intriguingly the volcano could actually offer a means to ending whatever disaster is going to hit Jurassic World. Wouldn't it be a pleasant conclusion to the story for one of the most famous extinction theories to come true for the dinosaurs? Which other Easter Eggs and interesting details have you found on the Jurassic World website? Share your finds below in the comments thread.
