What there has been to see of Chris Pratt's Owen so far has displayed a man super-confident, arrogant even, in his relationship with the Velociraptors. He describes himself as the alpha of the Raptor pack and does what no Jurassic franchise character has done before: command the animals. Owen would appear less confident around the Indominus Rex, from which he is seen running for his life in a number of TV spots and trailers. However, one telling shot implies that Owen's understanding of Jurassic World's wildlife extends to the new dino, too. In an extension of shot from the main trailers, he is seen in one TV spot laying flat, closing his eyes and turning calmly away from the Rex's view. As Dr. Grant knew a way of deceiving the T-Rex in Jurassic Park, this hints that Owen's expertise will come in handy with the new hybrid - like with the Raptors, he may be the only character in Jurassic World who truly understands the Rex's limitations. What clues did you find in the Jurassic World TV spots? Let us know in the comments below.
