Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - 9 Things That Must Happen

5. All-New Dinosaurs Join The Fold

Archaeologists have unearthed a staggering number of dino species over the years, and many of them are yet to appear in the Jurassic Park franchise.

T-Rex, Triceratops et al are almost certain to take up their thrones in Fallen Kingdom, but here's hoping we get to see more than just the usual suspects.

Utahraptor would be a worthy addition to the series. These nasties come with all the teeth and claws of their Velociraptor cousins, except in a larger package.

Meanwhile, Allosaurus is perhaps the best known dinosaur never to feature in the Jurassic Park universe.

This 30-foot predator would be more than just a T-Rex alternative - something we've already had in Jurassic Park 3's Spinosaurus and Jurassic World's Indominus Rex - as experts believe they hunted their prey in packs.

Although the history books are jam-packed with potential additions to the roster, the Jurassic series is no longer bound by archaeological discovery since Indominus Rex marked the dawning of a new age of hybrid dinosaurs.

Jurassic World's most deadly attraction was a combination of T-Rex, Raptor and more cooked up in a laboratory by InGen scientists, and their god-playing has opened the door to other potential amalgamations.

Would it be possible to combine Raptor and Pteranodon DNA to create a winged version of the cunning predators? Probably not, but it would be cool, wouldn't it?
