Jurrassic World New Trailer Breakdown: 25 Things You Need To See
3. More Improved CGI
A weird trend that's been noted between Jurassic World trailers is the continuing upgrades in terms of the special effects. In the earliest spots for the upcoming films there were even scenes that were totally lacking in the dinosaurs that were to be added in post-production, a swooping shot of the park's customers being attacked by Pteranodons being a lot less exciting (and way more confusing) without the flying beasties actually featured. It's a symptom of the modern marketing cycle, which demands trailers start appearing a good couple of months after the film gets announced. With such an effects-intensive film as Jurassic World, that's a big ask. This new trailer includes more improved CGI, with the big dive by the Mosasaurus now involving it chowing down on a Pteranodon. Everyone's against those flying guys.
