6. Aquaman Gets Lassoed

Even if Martha Kent sex jokes don't do it for you, there's a great gag ahead of the final battle where Aquaman spills his guts about the upcoming fight.

After suggesting that they're probably all going to die, he turns to Wonder Woman and launches into an enthusiastic spiel, saying, "Phew, you're gorgeous, and fierce and strong. Mmmm. I know we went to war with the Amazons, but that was before my time, and you know what? I don't wanna die. I'm young. There's s*** that I wanna do. I just feel like I've never really embraced the sea or the land. I've been a loner my whole life, but being part of something bigger like this, maybe I'm scared because I'm meant to..."

At this point, Bruce points out to Aquaman that Diana's Lasso of Truth has been tied around his leg the whole time, much to his irritation. Diana tells him, "I think that was beautiful", after which Aquaman tells The Flash, "You say a word about this, and you'll meet every piranha I know."

This was totally a Whedon gag, and one of the movie's few jokes that really felt like it nailed the Avengers-esque tone the film was shooting for.
